Open letter to the US Justice Department regarding the WWW

My company OntoOO Inc works on helping people helping themselves regarding their healthcare. The 24*7 availability of the WWW is crucial for this venture.

The FBI is monitoring now the internet due to worms/ virusses/ trojan horse/ etc. These problems have emerged due to serious product defects in MicroSoft's software. While its operating system is crashing less than before its email processor Outlook is a straightforward disaster. Its capability to execute scripts has caused untold damage and threatens currently the proper functioning of the WWW. One would have expected that MicroSoft would have reacted responsibly when the Love virus caused worldwide havoc.

Similar problems in other industries lead to product recalls. I suggest that MicroSoft should recall its products that have repeatedly caused worldwide damage and that is now threatening the WWW as a whole.

Since MicroSoft is not taking decisive action it seems to me that the US Justice Department should jump into the fray and if necessary force MicroSoft to take immediate actions to ensure the integrity and availability of the WWW.
